Not to impressed with them. Not a fan of that new rear bumper to me it looks extremely large and hidiousbut i'm sure it serves a purpose. I like the headlights on the GMC trucks. The body lines are nice but seriously I wonder if the engineers when they were kids ever had the puzzle with the different shapes I'm wondering if they were able to get the round shape into the square hole! I hope to god Chev changes it's wheel wells back to a round wheel well. Interior is slowly starting to change wich is nice as well.

Anyone know of any good deals on a 2013 Sierra 1500 loaded.
Looking for a extended cab with 6.2 engine.
Was looking for a clean used one but hard to find and pricey.
With all the rebates on new I think I will go that way.

Thx Carrot I will. Being from Grande Prairie prices are on the higher side of things here.
Great service department thou but pricing is a bit high on trucks for some reason being a boom town.
Thx again

Dropped into a GM dealer today. The earlier rumor that I heard has been substantiated (at least at a dealer level). The 2014 Sierra 1500's will be all new styling. The 2014 Sierra 2500HD's and the 3500HD's will be the same as the 2013's. No interior or exterior changes to the HD's. I can't believe they would set up a new year's introduction like that. I may have to start looking at a Ford..........geeeze

I was driving by the train yard in Calgary were they unload the vehicles and swear I saw a line up of 2500 with new styling.

I would think that is the way it should be. The 2014's are just a little different than the 13's and IMHO, it is mostly with the lights on the exterior and a dimensional changes. Most of the difference is on the interior.

i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks. I started looking in the spring and there was only 1 (that had what I wanted or was even close) in western Canada; a 3500HD with a 6l, extended cab SLT, 8' box with 410 gearing. I wanted a moon roof and sliding rear window. It was in Surrey. Then I saw the changes to the 2014's and decided that would be nice. But if the HD's are the same as the 2013's, they can forget it!

Engines are completely different and share almost absolutely nothing with the current ls' s. Yes they have the same relative displacement so people think they are the same but they are not even close. Suspension is quite different too. And even normal half tons have the 9.5" 14 bolt now, plus you can get 373s with a 5.3 now too. Body is a fuglified version of the current trucks and the interior is better for sure as they took heavily from everyone else. I can't wait for the first dork to spout off about the easy close, pop and drop tailgate that Nissan has only had for 10 full years now on the Titan lol.

pfi572, get the 2013 dodge, better motor and interior and there is a $9250 starting rebate before any other negotaiting. i just bought a full jam sport and its amazing. I think GM and Chev are in the right direction, but still ask so much more money. Yes they have longer warrenty, but i dont think there build quality is any better then dodge or ford now. Just a suggestion!!

they should have kept the front end look the same on as the 2013's but added optional projector headlights and changed the rear design, interior design, and added the new motors and goodies etc.

you can order front pumper parking assist!

I looked at one a couple weeks ago and absolutely love the new look on the interior. One of the biggest improvements is an extra 3-4 inches of leg room in the rear. Really wish they would have changed the 2500's as well, not sure who's brain fart idea that was.

I sent an email to GM enquiring about the 2014 2500HD's and the 3500HD's with regards to the new styling of the 1500 series. In particular, are the 2014's in the HD series going to be the same as the 2013's? Talk about a "brain fart idea"........seriously will look at that "Circled-mistake"........gonna hurt!

Here is my answer:
Thank you for your email.

In order to provide accurate information, we suggest you speak with the sales department, specifically the Sales Manager, of your local GM dealership.

We rely on our authorized General Motors dealership personnel, who are factory trained, qualified and equipped to sell our products. In addition, they are provided with the latest technical information on our product lines. While at the dealership, you will also have the opportunity to test drive various vehicles to determine if they meet your personal requirements.

Thank you for contacting General Motors of Canada Limited, and for the opportunity to provide appropriate direction.

haha dearlerships are the last to hear about new vehicles and new models to come out, before the new camaro came out i went to a dealership and asked a bunch of questions... couldnt answer any and anything he did say i knew months before through online forums and spy photos/reports

heres one spy link, all the truck/auto pages are calling it a 2015, thats how i guessed the 2014 will be the same as the 2013s

they had to rip some of the camo off to allow airflow, they were doing hot weather testing

looks like a hybrid between the 2013 hd and the 2014 1500
