haha dearlerships are the last to hear about new vehicles and new models to come out,................

This I believe.

At another dealer today, and they said, "the 2014 HD's will not be out until Jan. and into Feb and will be named 2015's. That's the first I've heard of that one and that is different from the other two dealers I was at!

i'm still looking around.......

I was told the new 3/4 truck will be out in late fall and that there will be two styles offered in 2014 like they did with the recent style and the "classic" back a few years. I have not driven the new 2014 but I have driven the 2013 Eqinox. The reason I bring this up is because the new trucks now have the lane departure and following to close monitor set up (what ever its called) that is in our Eqinox, so I can coment on that. I have no clue how it works but I do see what looks to be a camera lens coming out of the windshield behind the rear view mirror. You can turn the lane departure off if you like but comes back on when you re start the vehicle. How it works is it monitors the painted lines on the road, if you do not use your turn signal and you come near the painted line it figures you are drifting out of your lane and gives you an audible beep. I heard the pickups will have a vibration feature in the seat and will vibrate the side of the seat you are drifting to (unconfirmed as I have not driven one, just read about it). The other sensor is when you follow too close to someone. You can set the sensitivity of it. If someone stops in front of you it gives an audible beep, red LED in the dash flashes and it also does something to the brakes, or maybe just the engine. I do not feel the car slow but I can hear something like ABS noise for a split second or maybe engine throttle off. Not really sure. It is very effective though.
