here are a few shots from today. Pretty amazing day of low risk riding. Trails are holding up great once you start to gain elevation. New snow over the weekend and last night has added up to produce some sick riding.

Snow conditions are pretty awesome for this time of year and the riding has been great (if you can see....which is another reason to lower your risk and stick to low or no angle terrain, or go hide in the trees) Spring conditions have set in for sure and we are doing our best with the lower sections of the trails, so your understanding is greatly appreciated.

There is a very difficult snowpack and we are into some sketchy times around western Canada. Please folks, just use your head and stay away from big terrain for a while (possibly the rest of the season) Lower your angle and increase your dangle. Insead of hills, try some techinical lines or go play in the trees. You will learn new skills, become a better sledder and most importantly, make it home to your family.

Enjoy your ride, but please do it safely!

This man speaks the truth, lots of great riding to be had while being safe. No matter your skill level, lol.

We rode this past weekend in mostly untouched powder. Over the headlights in most places on sat and sunday. Wish I could go again.

Here is a link to my latest video. Its from March 17. I usually dont post long vids, but this one is longest movie I have posted. (IMO the best stuff starts at 330) This vid shows some sick riding, from open meadows to very techy tree riding, all in amazing snow. The best part about it? We had one of the best days of the year with extremely minimal risk. I hope some folks watch this and see how much more there is to sledding then smacking a hill all day.

In these times of an super touchy and tricky snowpack, we still have many choices of where and how to ride.

Remember, YOU control your risk and exposure. Choose your terrain wisely.

Possibly heading to Valemount on Thursday for a few days of riding. Wonder if there's any groups heading out that wouldn't mind a couple tag alongs. Both experienced riders with all the appropriate gear and both on 14 XM's. Easy going guys just looking for a few solid days of shreddin!! Thanks!
