2012 M1100 "General Lee" Build

Hi all, after putting a break-in of 76miles on my new cat i was ready to tackle the idea of upgrading the turbo on my sled which had been my plan for some time. So i spent several of my days off tearing it down and building it back up. Started off bu upgrading the track to a 2.5 Camo, then put my General Lee Wrap on the sled. I then tore apart the front end and removed the stock turbo and put on the 2871 Garrett. The only thing that we didn'f fab on this unit was the header which is from the older Z1 turbo kit from boondocker. otherthan that we have a 2.5inch straighpipe exhaust, boost smart blow off valve, manual boost controller, 2 added fuel injectors into the charge tube controlled by Boost-it box, air fuel ratio gauge, boost gauge, and other stuff. Only rode it around the yard so far as im back working to pay for all this lol. We rode it in the yard at 13lbs and it ripped!! Plan to get it to Revy on Christmas day and do some more tuning. After riding this one stock, and the Z1 turbo last year with the Hijacker and stock turbo, this sled hauls A$$, cant wait to get it out there and let er buck!! Hope you enjoy. Had it out for half a day on tuesday, ran well, took me everywhere i wanted to go at 13lbs boost , have some clutching to deal with but didnt have a lot of time to play as it was socked in. Hence no video, be back to Revy next week so I will get some footage and tuning done next week and let you know.

I was in revy when he was riding, talked to him a bit. seems like the clutching isnt working for that much power, not able to get the power to the ground. looks and sounds great though!

thats exactly my issue, got some springs lined up to try this weekend in vale, definately will need a helix at sometime but haven't found exactly what im needing yet, hoping for some sun this weekend so i can get some video, socked in for 4 days in revy last week

Ya i hear ya. I had that white black summit with the orange white black full wrap on it. we are heading back again though next week

Have you done anything about the air intake? ie: put a kn pod on it and seperate it from the hood etc?
