So i go out today to start the sled push the starter button fires up on one cylinder can't get it to run on two. Think it could be the plugs? Sled only has 300 km.

Very likely. Did you do the engine fogging before putting it away? Try a new plug on the bad hole and take an aspirin and call us in the morning. Lol.

Oh and keep the bad plug if that is what it is. You have 3 year warranty on it from BRP.

How have you confirmed it is only running on one cylinder?

Did you do any changes to it over the summer?

If only running on one cylinder it will most likely throw a CEL.

Did you do any throttle cable re-routing? Throttle block adjustment that would cause the throttle to be open slightly when you start it?

no changes everything is still the same. When i parked it for the season i drain the fuel out of it. So the other day i put some fresh premium in it fired it up then it stalled.Started it again this time i had to keep giving it gas to keep it going then it started to idle. I had the track off the ground so i gave it some gas the machine back fired a couple of times but would never run on 2 cylinders. To me it sounds like plugs. Guess i will haul it to the dealer let them check it out.

It was noted awhile back (maybe not on here) that it is not a great idea to drain your tanks as the seals in the fuel pumps could possibly dry out. Is it likely to happen? No idea. I never drain my sleds over the summer though, never have.

Another thing people don't really know about is the fuel filter on the etec's. You can get a Wix replacement for $3-5 at most auto part stores.

I would ensure the throttle is fully closed as it sounds like a open throttle limiter, make sure the throttle depresses and closes freely, fire it up again and check it.

But yeah, off to the dealer if it is not working for you after that. Assuming you store it inside, there is no chance of a mouse making a nest in the exhaust, the belt tension didn't magically become too tight, or even track tention is loose and not binding?

Its e-start, how good of a charge is on the battery? If you had a bad cell in the battery it might cause all kinds of havok, especially if sitting with out a tender all summer.

Was the summerizing mode complete when it shut off in the spring if you did that?

I had a similar problem with. The guy I bought it off left it for the summer with fuel in it. The fuel was terribly rotten and I pumped out what I could and run it around. I took a while to run out the last bit of junk fuel leaft in it. I would run it around a bit and see if it clears up.

the plugs have 3 year warranty if they are BRP plugs. Should be no charge.

They are the ones that come with it. Service guy told me he will phone brp in the mourning to find out and of course this guy is new to his position. Hope he gets it figured out or might just half to call brp myself. Snopro does it say in the owners manual that spark plugs carry a 3 year warranty?

Warranty yes , but don't forget a deductable has or will kick in depending on what the warranty start date was last yr. If I recall right fully covered for one year and then deductable for remaining 2 yrs. Not sure I would have hauled the sled to the dealer as above it was suggested it could be a plug. I know I would not go tho the pain of loading transporting and unloading along with the agrivation you are about to experience for a $20.00 plug.????

The only reason i hauled it in is because i am not sure about this indexing thing. You are right though it is alot of work for 20.00.

Well, when you are there tomorrow your dealer will show you indexing. It is a very simple process. marker pen required. May as well get something from them when you pay the balance on that invoice lol.
