Do you know if guys are just using a shallow socket and ratchet to get these plugs out?

I contacted brp and they do not have any kind of a warranty on spark plugs. He told me if they saw a claim come through for a spark plug it would be denied.Spark plugs a considered a wear item and there are too many factors that can cause a plug to be faulty. As for my dealer we split the bill 50/50.

the plugs have 3 year warranty if they are BRP plugs. Should be no charge.

interesting. its not just the indexing thats the issue. the etec plugs are hard to get at and i have seen a few cases where guys have tried to change theres and end up stripping the cylinder head because of the awkward angle and cramped space.

few things i have seen after pulling the motor, one is to get rid of the coolant lines running to the head, they are just there to help remove air when filling coolant, and that will help with getting in to work on plugs, second is to cleam up throttle body coolant lines, both clean up engine compartment

Not sure but are these plugs not about 40 a piece??

Warranty yes , but don't forget a deductable has or will kick in depending on what the warranty start date was last yr. If I recall right fully covered for one year and then deductable for remaining 2 yrs. Not sure I would have hauled the sled to the dealer as above it was suggested it could be a plug. I know I would not go tho the pain of loading transporting and unloading along with the agrivation you are about to experience for a $20.00 plug.????
