how can you compare it to anything else???? everything else is just a bag of bolts compared to the pro climb!!!!!!

your expectations out of this thread are stupid, i can almost guarantee everyone on S&M who rode the proclimb rode it the same weekend i did.....your looking for a comparison for a sled that hasnt even officialy hit the snow. and the ones that have hit the snow were either protos that were rat bagged to ch!t from so much testing, or were protos released to the aftermarket for product devolpment..........i would love to tell ya that it high marks a etec in the soft fluff, is more flickable then the pro in the trees, but the honest answer is i dont know and NO BODY here does!!!!!!!
take it for what its worth......you remind me of my mother in law

1-Where did I say I wanted feedback now? Every one knows there has not been any opportunitiy to compare sleds yet. I clarified that in my second post on here. Hope to see comparisons over the course of the winter. I said it twice now. I don't care about the early season prototype ride, I want feedback from the forthcoming winter when people have ridden with their buds and trade sleds. Hope this make it clear.

2-I find this site and many others very offensive with people bad mouthing each other. Ask a simple question and get replys belittling fellow sledders. Clarkydubs if you read my last post I thanked you for your input and clarified that I would like to here from you when you may have had an opportunity to compare other sleds. Have a look at your response. Was I rude to you. If you think I was I apologize.

3-Is your mother in law good looking too? Thanks for the compliment.

Why are you asking about the new Cat if you bought a Polaris Pro?

You must be assuming that because I have a Pro I do not care how the other brands compare. Read my first post again and you will have your answer. I would prefer to hear what real riders have to say. Sled magazines are not the best comparison resource in my opinion.

are the only resource at the moment. i'm sure in the next few months you'll hear "pro climb this, pro climb that" i don't think you'll have to worry about the comparisons either. in all honesty this thread was destined for failure by asking that so soon, wait till there's somewhere to ride before you ask for comparisons, most places still have mud.

Had no idea that you have Polaris Pro, figured since you were asking about the Cat that you had purchased one of them. And we all know that the Pro ride is the best one out there!!! Just trying to stir the pot a bit, all the sh!t talk about sleds is half the fun in my mind. I went back and read your first post, an unbiased opinion about sleds does not exist, sorry for wasting your time and mine by responding, won't do it again!

i appologize for going a little hard at ya.....however, you are probably 3 months early on this thread....this is like the 15th thread on this topic so far. so i guess i got a little a head of myself and assumed you were another troll looking to start another brand bashing thread. that doesnt seem to be the case, so remind me in a couple of months and i should have so actual stock vs. stock comparrisons for ya!!!!!!!

Ouch..... the elder & wiser Maxwell speaks.....a slap from within the family....

Having ridden an M7 for many years and miles one problem I did have with the old cat was the air intakes were mounted at the top of the hood just in front of the windshield. In the deep snow these were always getting covered with snow and the sled would bog for lack of air. Was forever reaching over the windshield to wipe the snow away while I was riding just to keep the thing going. This was never an issue with the XP's buddies were riding as the air intake was better located to keep the snow off. Not sure if this was an issue with Polaris. Having looked at the 2012 Mountain machines at Argyll Motor Sports the other day I see they now have the air intake mounted behind the windshield almost where the gas tank is. I think this is a great improvement over the old models as that was one of the few problems I had with the M7. Brett Rasmussen still rides Arctic Cat and has been riding the new models all summer. I think he has a website where he comments on the pro's and con's of the new models.
