Hello everyone! I am going to the bike show this weekend and steering toward buying the new can am 1000 XT. Just wondering what the general talk is about them (power, mud riding, weight problems?.....). Trying to make my final decision in buying a machine. Anybodies input would be greatly appreciated.

82 crank HP, 60 to 62 RWHP. They are still electronically limited to 77mph...but I can vouch that it gets there real fast.

i have a 1000 outlander and i love it. wheelies in high range no problem and really fun in the sand, havent had a chance to get it in the mud but if you wana see what they can do check out the ostacruiser page on youtube and watch some of the videos of those crazy guys. i think its the best all round quad you can buy. i use it for hunting, play and everything in between. i would not reccomend and other machine.

so get a small outlander for 10k ? i saw a new 2011 850xp for 8500 as well?? i own a 500 gade to and was almost same price as my cat both under 9k new and i dont think i can take the 500 over the tcat but both have been great machines for me. im still trying to figure out where my 8300 went to on the renegade no frame protection dont like how nothing is held together with bolts and few other things looks like i could bend the frame with my hand. but thats what the ole lady wanted

Youtube - ostacruiser page... that's some pretty awesome riding.
Great - Now I'm gonna have to park the Grizz and move up to that 1000.
That is just a wicked machine all around.
