LOL - 1500 kms! better check the crank run out and start saving for a new shortblock next year. Good thing you got 1500 kms on the belt though!:d I think the service interval at 1500 kms on the new Cat turbo is opening the hood.....for the first time.

Hey Maxwell it is someone who you know and I also herd that the dealer has tried all different helix's etc.... I am not going to post his name and if he wants to then he can. The dealer cant even figure out why his clutches are getting so hot and he can only make 2 passes without having to stop. I am not saying all doo's are like this and hell I was gonna buy one and then i was told to wait from a die hard doo guy.

Ya...I know him well. Also witnessed it rip a cord on a belt. Also tried all those helixes...like I said in my other post its a 5$ fix if you have one of the mystical belt burners that's not a 2008.

I will admit fixed secondaries aren't ideal IMO but most of us haven't had any issues yet.

I heard at the 1500km service they remove the training wheels and give you the big boy track. 16 wide 2.5 .

LOL kinda like the other way around isn't it? :D they give you XP riders the 16 so the sled doesn't tip over as much - might as well put the Skandic 20 incher on there if you need that much stability..... I wonder how much of a factor the extra inch plays at 80 mph track speed anyway ......floatation will only carry you so far.

More people runnin' thier mouths when they don't have to back it up. The thread is about Cats 1100 Turbo and D&Ds outrageous horsepower claim. Pretty sure BRP owners will be able have thier own forced induction thread one year soon.

Wow. I've been following this thread the whole time and it's quite entertaining. BUT I see similar conversations in the quadding forum. The whole "my brand is better than your brand", "my sled brand goes higher and deeper than your brand", "my brand of quad never gets stuck" thing. Its great to see cause competition breeds excellence. But the only way to actually brag is to go out and go head to head with your competition.

It seems as soon as there is a positive or interesting post about a Cat sled, it turns into a thread about Doo's.

Is there some sort of fear that affect Doo owners that they need to chime in how good their product is everytime a different brand gets talked about????

It's fun at first but it is so predictable and so repetitive......even boring after a while. :blah::blah:
