and how do you run all day with meth injection? Gotta be a big meth tank huh?

Shouldn't be very big - meth injection is normally triggered by a boost switch that starts the spray once a certain level is reached. Apex's I have seen with water/meth run a fairly small reservoir, gets them through all day no problem.

something like 4 L of windshield washer fluid is good for a solid week of riding for most systems

agreed, thats what alot of the high HP deisel engines use for boost that i work on.
wonder what type of turbo's they are using?

should be interesting to see how they perform off the dyno.

More like 40-50lbs of manifold pressure on most heavy trucks..
I have one comming through Dons. For the price that they were selling the stocks sleds it's pretty hard to passup. Will be around 17-18 large for that 300hp mark.. Can barely leave the yammy dealer with a stocker for that..
For sure they will have glitches and I know that guys continually say their apex's and nitro's are completely trouble free. But for some reason I always see them being rebuilt or under the chopper, but that must be just the guys that dont know anything!! right!!!! Iam trying one so I guess time will tell.

There is lots of info / testing on this motor in the Z1, don't get your hopes too high 315 is a bs dyno run, not real world... according to dyno tech anyway. To make a real 315 you better get out your wallet.

Yep they keep going the way they are and they will be proper fawked. More worried about planes and trains than the product that made them.:d

Turbo sleds have there place no doubt but the majority of the masses would rather have a solid stock sled with a couple goodies. I don't think Doo will be going away anytime soon.:d:beer:

That's is true for sure, but that goes for all of them out there.. Still may be the best 4banger turbo for the money. Or not???

The new pro is on par with the skidoo xp at best. So not losing any ground there. Keep in mind this is still a heavy 4 stroke and only a certain market will purchase this. Also your not thinking clearly if you think skidoo isn't going to come out with something twice as cool in the next year or two.

My stage 2 mcx on a nitro would do 75 mph to the bar this winter on lake isle. That was right after the big snowfalls we got. 3 feet plus of snow without a base. Then I took out the z1 turbo. Hijacked and set at 220 on the boondocker. It would cruise at 3/4 throttle at 100 mph. I love my yamaha sled. I have 2 mcx nitros. But trust me this z1 is the sh$t. I only put 400 miles on but I can tell u it's fast and I've held it over 130 mph for 8 miles. No belts blown or nothing. So this motor rips. And the new chassis is supposed to make the m chassis feel like a king cat did when the m chassis came out. I am pretty sure when we all see our first 2012 1100 on the snow we are going to be impressed. We will find out early November when the snowchecks are in.

That sounds like quite a stretch.
