rode allen on thursday the 17th and clemina on friday.. was a lot of fun in the trees!

Rode westride both days this past weekend. When we went in on saturday the trail was amazing, best I have ever seen only needed 1/4 throttle to make it up. When were were coming down different story, someone trenched the sidehill, and iced up the pussy filter, still pretty easy but amazing how bad it was considering how nice it was on the way up. Some alright snow in the trees around first bowl, dropped all the way back and snow never really improved, still super set up and wind blown. Broke into the lake and still no real powder back there. Sunday did more poking around and found a good hill over by 3rd bowl but still not that great. They need a good dump and some cooler temps again.

Anyone know if you can drop the hill looking towards CMH and get out on the access road?

nope they ski that face and would not be impressed me thinks. even if you could you would have to cross the river which wouldn't be enjoyable.

pussy filter...thats hilarious but so true. sunday when we got up (12pm) it was iced up and like you mentioned the sidehill had a massive hole in it. not sure why....its flat.....either way we had 0 issues getting up but someone sure did.

The boundary of Westridge is much smaller than most people think. CMH has been very good and understanding with unaware riders within their tenured area, although this cannot last forever. Email me for a Google Earth file of the area boundary if you like

Ya I was wondering how someone managed to trench a flat part out so bad, you can idle up that part just fine.

And ya we figured it would A) be a bad idea to go down their slope seeing how you can see the lodge and the landing pad from the top there and B) that river doesn't look all that fun to cross...
Hopefully Vale gets pounded with snow for the next week or 2 till i can get back up there. Need more snow to cover up that trail again and need some waist or chest deep powder up on the lake (if you could even make it up to there with that much snow?)
