2011 vs 2015 M8?

Hey, Im looking to buy a back up sled for the lady partner.
2011 M8 original motor with 2300km- 4000$CDN

or

2015 M8 New Motor with 1100Km, Body has 4500km- 4500$

Which one should I buy???

the 2015 will be way more agile of a sled than the 2011.

the 2011 is the old M series chassis where as the 2015 is a proclimb, no doubt the proclimb is way nicer to ride than the M

it's the same motor, the Suzuki 800 that was used in the Arctic Cat sleds is a reliable motor.

The most reliable engines made. Look at your clutch’s that’s what will break on those sleds

the 2015 but put the 2016+ front suspension on it to drastically improve handling and e-start is really hard to add if that is a consideration.

2015 - much more nimble sled. The M series were great sleds though.

Should i be concerned if the track has 3" paddles?
Feels excessive, but I am only using for mountain access.
Figure the sled wont be driving more than 200km/ season

Those 3" tracks are fine. If the missus can't keep it cool you could always cut them down.

Go with the 15. Way better chassis.
