From what my dealer was telling me 2012 snow check are going to be a good deal. Cheaper than the 2011 snow check and with a 3year bumper to bumper warrenty and the new 2.5 in lug track. I'd wait to see what BRP is actually going to offer for the 2012 snowchecks.

My money is on the 2012, the option of a 2.50" track sold me. :d:beer: From what i hear the E-Tech has more then enough power to handle the extra track. go for the 162". :d

I was looking at ski-doo's website and it seems they have adjusted the canadian prices a bit, if it were me I'd snowcheck a 2012, and the 2.5" track would be a nice addition.

Def go with the 12 because of all the reasons above and they should have some of there "break in" issues worked out!

I don't know if i am too pumped about the new track... the lugs are hollow. how long would they last may be a issue. Sure, you lose 2.5 lbs (I think), but is it worth it !

The lugs are not hollowed out. I don't know why they worded it like that. I was asking a guy that knows about it and he said that there is a pound less rubber in these tracks. They didn't want to go too crazy on taking weight out just to end up with a challanger lite situation from 2007.
