2011 / 2012 Valemount Info and Updates

The conditions are still awesome ! The open alpine is a bit wind effected although is still receiving fresh snow nightly from the riders reports this week. The trees and sheltered areas on the other hand are absolutley incredible. The temps have cooled off a little bit today and are supposed to cool off more for tonight.We will be grooming chappell tonight as scheduled and should be back on full schedule for the weekend.This was taken on Sunday, and as you can see the snow is great ! sleddin in valemount bc - YouTube

I posted fer conditions here and for revy, mattiac beat ya to the punch fer updates so we hit frisbee today instead,,,looked extremely similar there to ur vid, which was niiiice by the way. The turbo looked like it rocked, skiis would just do a slight touchdown from time to time. I really wanna get up there soon tho,,, 2 weeks im back from work, and i HAVE to put aside a ride or two in those trees. Cheers

Chappell tomorrow ?

Well curtis it was my first and only day of sledding and yes the conditions were unbelievable,was tough to see but who cares in that kind of snow,we had a blast and yes,there was lots of untouched freshies as you refer to them..........................See ya at Chappel,Were are riding Two HCRS if your looking for us!

yup there is an update on the previous page. Its hard to keep them in sight, sucks when they dont stay current ???!!! Not to many peeps look at previous pages

Pics are very similar sorry.....the vis was not great and it was snowing off and on, any alpine pics would not have turned out. The open alpine has approx 1' of good soft snow and the sheltered pockets are even better. Ive only heard great reports from allen and clemina as well !
