Definitely on the warm side for this time of year, we rode 35 of the 42 km's in the rain last time we went in, it gave us time to clean up the cabin while our gear dryed.

March is the best time of year to get into the Gleason. The conditions should be great, because the worst problem is the big Alders on the slope should be down with the amount of snow we have. Don't use the avy chute, it also likes to come down this time of year as well.

We went to the Torpy yesterday. Even the trail in was fun- we had to stop playing and conserve our fuel so we would have some left to play up top!! The Burn was a little sketchy- pretty deep to break trail into and the visibility was zero. Once we got up top we stayed in the smaller meadows and trees because avy danger is pretty high. There was 2-3 ft of fresh; more in some places. At one point I was literally plowing snow with my face on the downhill turns ;)

Bring snorkels and play it safe- that nasty layer of hoar frost is still under all the fluffy stuff: we checked...
