They have it dialed in for the etecs as well. I would deffinetly encourage people to go the roosterbuilt route.

Cool, I messaged paul about a hour ago about his etec kit, but like hearing from guys running it in the etecs.

Paul is a good resource for info. I would be interested to see what changes they did make between '12 and '12 from BRP. They didn't put the part number for the XM's helix on the parts fiche yet

The production xm that I looked over at the dealer, had a helix marked 40xt on it, I'm assuming its the same 40deg cam as 2012 as the 2012 was only marked 40. Primary cal look the same.

I have heard of the XT marking a few times now. I do not know what it represents. I am curious now. I think if it was just a 40 it would say 40, not 40xt.

We go through this every year, but according to the fiche, the helix p/n is different this year from last year so the XT marking might mean something. The pinweight is now showing M6X16mm, springs look the same ramps. Until a primary is taken apart, thats when we'll know for sure

XT = Xtreme Turbo

But getting back to the cluch kit, I have tried DJ's kit a couple of time as well( fool me once ) and got the same results as Bounce and Piston, not happy with it, Rooster biult was good, but like was said before no 2 sleds are the same or is the rider, so as far as a clutch "kit" you will always get half assed clutching. I shouldnt say that, it may work better thatn stock and you might get lucky and it does what it is supposed to but it won't work as good as the guy that knows clutchs and biult the the right setup like Cory, Jerry at martin isnt bad either if he sets it up right.
