My dealer got 30 163 everests and X's they had a 163 black and copper unit on the floor, I like it the copper it is a matte finish and the front vent by the front bumper is larger. the tunnel is PAINTED not powdercoated so I don't see the paint lasting long and there is a new belt adjuster and jackshaft, the new belt adjuster will not work with the older jackshaft because the threads are now external instead of internal. I want to try the new sway bar on my 163 it look's like it will fit the only difference is the bar is smaller in dia.
Thre rear skid is definately different and wont bolt up to the 09 tunnel without some mods, no sag and it returned to neutral after you stood on it, but we'll see after the snow hits.

Just picked up mine also, from edson black 163 copper have done some modsnot much though.

Ya the whole BRP fix for the return of the back suspension is not a good fix. Sure it returns to the height, but the whole attack angle is out of wack. Read it on another forum and pulled up specs on a 2009 and 2010. Will be interesting to see how it climbs.

So will our 09 163 still be better than the new one or should I have ordered a 10. Any new info is appreciated.

Personally i feel the 09is the way to go. they had it set up pretty good. Alot of it came down to personal preference. Tried an 08, and i have an 09. for 2010 i know they changed the attack angle on the sled and not for the better. There are alot of left over 09's if you could get your hands on one. No where am i saying that the 2010 will not be a good sled.

they painted the rear cooler also. not sure how that will effect cooling capacity. if any
