2010 m8 Exhaust probe connector

Hey guys,

Today I goofed up when I was pulling the pipe off on my 2010 m8 for some cleaning. Long story short I yanked the wires coming from the exhaust probe out of the connector. I'm wondering if anybody could run to their garage and tell me which way they went into the connector so I can solder them back in properly. One wire is grey one is white.

Or does it even matter? During my search i found I can bypass it anyways, thoughts? Much appreciated.
