lol i'm sure if you wouldn't be an a-hole all the time, people would appreciate that sled for what it is. if it is indeed yours, it looks good and seems that alot of hard work went into it. If you post that wedge saying it's the best thing since sliced bread obviously the response wont be positive.

alot of the guys here don't like to wrench and a new sled every 2-3 years is good for them as they have a warranty that covers them in case of a mishap.

also if the wedge and the zx were such good chassis, manufacturers wouldnt of strayed so far from them in the following generations. some were great in their time and some when modded can compete with the new iron for sure

I never said it was the best thing since sliced bread. I just said is was fast. It climbs pretty good too. Might even give a stock summit a go.

heres what were bringing to fernie, not new but will still haul ass. going to try for the $2000. ck3 chassis with 1110 twin rotary on juice. i wish you would come longhair and settle this keyboard drag race once and for all. this sled also will climb like a beast but coming down is the scariest thing i have ever experienced.

This is to funny. My sled was built in 06. I could of built any sled I wanted but I chose the wedge strictly for the sqeal factor. I could of never imagined this much sqealin.

it gets the job done, come to fernie march 6, there is going to be a few of these old chassis with some big power running around. this was a 670 bored to a 740 with a custom crankshop triple case and the extra 740 jug. the rotary valves overlap. sweet engine and everyone knows how good the 670s were so imagine with the extra cylinder and some sweet porting. full custom exhaust also. soon to have a turbo for pavemnt racing in a different chassis.

I know of a 740 dynoed at 174 hp. I could imagine what that one makes.

Stop the squealing LHF. Be a man and accept the challenge to get your a$$ handed to you. Anybody that brags about "96 mph" speeds and then backs out of a challenge to prove it is 100% pure chickensh!t IMO.

Ever hear the old racer saying "put your motor where your mouth is."?

Grow a set dude. You wanted to talk the talk, now walk the walk and prove your sled is faster than your keyboard.

heres some vids from fernie drags a few years ago
the first 2 are against apex turbos, the 3rd one is a slightly modded 809 triple and the 4th vid is against a 900 cat turbo. the sled lean popped off the line but we almost came back to win, look for the fire where the headlight should be.

1) Did I ever say I could beat you??? Nope. Not once. EVER. Read all my posts. Why would I? I already know you're making more power than me. I only ride a 1978 440 TnT and I never leave the trails cuz I got no skillz. I've only ever asked why you won't accept someone else's challenge. You're happy to stir the pot but never show. There's plenty of guys on here that are packing wayyyyy more heat than me that are in your league. To me though, its just about riding and enjoying what I love, not being a keyboard jockey.

2) You already did tell people when and where to find you this weekend remember? Obviously no one gives a rat's a$$ about watching you climb the bunny hill in McBride. Whoops - could it be that you're not as popular as you think? LOL - I'm still laughing that Cycleworks didn't even care enough to give you a "clutch retainer"!!! LMAO

2) Why would I feel the need to race you?? You've got me on displacement by...oh...say....at least a couple hundred cc's. Seems like a fair race.... Me bringing a knife to a gun fight? LOL Do you race little old ladies in their Hyundai's and high five yourself when you beat them too? YAWN.....

3) I don't see why you are challenging people when.....the challenge was already issued to YOU by MANY, MANY, MANY PEOPLE. How many times have you been welcomed to come to the Big Iron? But I'm sure there will be more excuses about this year also

p.s. - If anyone here doesn't have a clue - its you LHF.

I say give LHF his own section on the forum.
