Just looking for some suggestions we have a mod meeting booked to come with some kind of itinerary and some wants and needs. Last year we did have a sort of daycare for saturday for the kids to hangout while the adults rode. there was crafts, games, prizes, scavenger hunt, and candy :). We also had a bit of an organized ride I took out a group of about 10 that didn't want to go hard core had everything from powder girls little 125/250? 2wheel drive all the way up the snowseekers nucular powered 10 foot high lifted rhino :p but most if not all did the geo-cache poker rally
Just looking for some idearers to make things better

-geocache
-More stuff for kids
-band/music-organized rides

OK then I also vote no heavy metal.:nono:

Metal band, not likely but thanks.Families and metal bands dont seem to fit well together although if its ACDC I may change my mind!
There was a impressive day for the kids on saturday last year organized by Dragonlady and her daughter that was a blast according to my kids,Im sure there will be lots for kids,We may ask for a couple volunteers to help with it this year as its growing all the time.

Missed out on the weekend last year, but reading some of the stories and hearing them from the crew at outwest should be one not to miss this year, Like the idea of a few organized rides we've rode up there for two years now and still have never been to the falls.

Hey All,

I'm just looking for some feedback/suggestions from people as to what they would like to see at this years campout. We are into the major planning stages and want to know what you, our valued members/attendee's would like to see.

Lets keep this thread constructive, and helpful, no bashing or anything like that, I will remove all garbage posts!

All suggestions welcome, although, we can't please absolutely everyone.

Thanks!

TylerG

The weekend sounds like a lot of fun. My family and I enjoy camping and boating. I dont own any quads, can you go and just camp? Is there a lake near by so you go boating or fishing? I guess I can be the bartender, fire up the gas powered blender.

Last year's campout was one of my highlights of the year, and there isn't much I would want to change if I had the choice. The point mentioned about organizing groups would be a good thing. I ended up just randomly finding a group of people doing the geocache and they were nice enough to let me and my family tag along!

I know how late everyone signed up to attend last year.. I'd bet it's going to fill up fast this time around!

me and the wife would love to make it this year, and we are looking forward to it. it will be our first big thing, but when was it last year cus if its gonna be in july then we are screwed as we will be in nova scotia for that month. i know you can't please everyone but maybe if you ask the people on the site when they think the best time is and then maybe go from there. like i said i know you can't please everyone and i sure wouldn't hold a grudge if it turns out to be in july just thought i'd throw out the idea.
