2009 IQ800 question

Hello,

I just purchased a 2009 800IQ with 1200 miles on it .The question I have is when im past 3/4 throttle, my exhaust tone changes . Is this normal or should I be concerned ? My Ski-doo allways sounded the same no matter how much throttle I gave it . I know the sled had the recall done under warranty.

a couple of questions i ask new 800 dragon owners ,what is it pulling rpm,what is the compression,there is some good reading on the problems with this mtr ( on this site )but once it is fixed they really work good

It's the exhaust valves opening. Very noticeable with a loud can.

yes, it was still pulling rpm's.

I do not know if it was the exhaust valve opening or not . I do not have a can , its all stock.
