2008 summit x electric start.. can you check km's without engine running? blown motor

like the title says. Can you check the km's without starting the engine. I am looking at buying a blown up sled and want to check the mileage. thx

I got a wiring harness i plug into diagnostic plug and it will activate all electrics included gauge or you can go to a dealer and they can do the same thing

I think so, I will check on mine to make sure I tell you the right wires.I have done it on non e-start sleds I belive you just jump it after the relay.

two dealers told me they have to plug in a laptop to pull the km's. I decided to buy the blown up sled anyway. I would still like to pull the km's off of it though. And I have a motor with harness that I would like to pull the km off of as well. thx.

they do not have to hook up the computer only the harness and a battery and all lights will come on and the gauge package
