What are some good mods to do on my quad to get some more power out of it without breaking the bank?I'm more of a sledder so I know what works on a sled but not familar with the quad end of things!I just want more grunt.

Clutching is one of the best.
Yes clutch....cheap way is to drill your rollers lighter and re-clock your secondary to b-3 or b-4.You can do a stock exhaust mod that is every bit as good as aftermarket and sounds good.Re-jet if your carbs or programmer if efi.I would snorkel it the factory intake and primary airbox are very restrictive.Have you welded your SLD? On that machine they slip a lot so you lose a LOT of takeoff power.

Clutch kit, aftermarket pipe, filter, programmer, and tires always help if you haven't upgraded from the stock meat.

I have swamp lites on it and I have mud lites on my rincon piece of crap!The rincon is the wife and kids now since it couldn't pull a moose out of a dry slough!I actually had to winch on a 3 inch jack pine to get out and it worked!!The rincon has a fmf pipe and intake and jetting mods and it won't spin the tires pulling!The cat is stock except for tires and its a monster beside the honda!I sold honda and if anyone wanted a work quad I would sell them a rubicon over a rincon,twice the machine for work!!

sld= spike load dampener
It is basically a clutch in the rear diff that slips when you hit it hard or hit a root etc.The t-cats with their huge torque were breaking axles and this was AC's feeble attempt to fix the problem.They work good when they are new but as they wear they slip more and more.Most just weld it solid (easy to do) and learn to drive with better thumb control:d.
