2000 summit 700 picking one up tommrow :) what do you guys think about them

If it doesn't have any, you should get handle bar risers. I put twin pipes,heads,v-force reeds on my old one and it riped like a 800.
I also put extra hood straps on the sides, to prevent it from opening when rolling.

Lots of potential, to build a real nice mountain sled out of them, with light weight parts ect...

Even stock, you won't be dissapointed:beer:

Great sled, if it's a 151 drop the gearing to 18/45, if it's a 136 19/43 works great, had one worked great sold it bought an 800, missed the 700 so bought another

ya its got twin pipes on it already. it sounds really good and starts good

it just needs to snow!!!!!! so i can take it for a rip :beer:

I still own mine, tough engine, makes good power, reliable. add the extra hood straps and a bar riser. clean the clutches. and ride.

Love mine. Almost trouble free. As for what to look for before the first ride. Make sure all the nuts and bolts are tight and nothing is broken and you should be fine. Change the chaincase oil. This is what I'm doing to my freshly purchased Cat before it's first ride next weekend.

Best sled I ever owned. I had 4 Summits now and miss my 2000 700 .
