I excluded Ford as there is an entire decade of trucks I wouldn't consider, basically 03-13. A '13 is to much cash for me to spend on truck that pulls the RV 6 times a year.

Because after a couple of hundred thousand kilometres the chev is still a viable truck.....the dodge has a strong engine wrapped in a rattly, falling apart unreliable driveline and chassis.
There isn't. I wish there was. Look at the auctions for example, it always goes fords, gm's, dodge's. Dodges are the rarest and pull in the best money by far. Most fleets buy ford or gms. And it's not because they are better.
I agree been looking for one also, and the ones in my price range are way up in km I found a 2500 2010 5.7 dodge 60405km on it but is a plain st and wants 22000.

Most fleets buy ford and GM because they’re more reliable and have lower operating costs per kilometre. Fleet managers don’t have any brand loyalty. It’s dollars and cents.

I agree with this statement. We run GM/Chev, Ford and Dodge in our fleet. Our truck mechanic's have found the Dodge's to easily be the most expensive to operate. By quite a margin apparently. The Ford's and GM's are pretty close but the Ford's are more expensive then the GM's.
Really all depends on what the fleet is being used for. We found that on the really bad roads the Fords and Dodges with solid axle front ends were cheaper to run than the Chevs that kept going through front ends with no warranty due to them being on gravel roads. On the highway the Chevs took over as long as they were on roads that treated them nicely. Dodge had the edge in Diesel engines but as soon as they were gas the operating expense gas vs gas was more than the others. New diesels are tougher on tires too with so much torque, contributing to higher operating costs along with the crazy prices for oil changes and fuel filters even with the oil changes being long intervals nowadays.
Company is now on Fords mainly as the fleet manager is a Ford fan and all of a sudden drives a F350 Platinum......with fleet plates.......when everyone else can’t get an up-spec truck even in upper management...... strange how that works....

Our companies fleet is now exclusively ford. Calgary, Delta, Edmonton, Lethbridge and our satellite locations with only one or two vans. Most of our fleet are vans with about 20% being 1/2 tons.
We also have passenger cars but they are all Nissan lol
We have tried them all , but strictly from a cost to operate stance , Ford wins.

Just picked up a 2008 3500 dual lay today at a farm auction, 235k pretty nice shape 18k
