Alpine temps were around +7 today.
Groomer is being hauled up next week. Trail fee collection starts Dec 8. $25 per sled this year, probably will be someone there 7days a week.
Road was plowed to 22km.
Good coverage for early season.

No worries.

Not really we have a paid position to collect fees. Last year we were seeing an increase in weekday traffic but not alot of cash in the honor box so we are trying something new.

Yes you can buy a Windermere valley snowmobile society membership of their website and that covers your pass.
In all honesty I really think wvss does about the best job of any sled club I've seen let alone one that has much smaller numbers then places like Revy.

Rain to 2200m today, been above freezing in the Alpine for a few days.
Roads are nasty if there was any snow on them before the rain.

Thanks for the update Darcy. Staging at 27 or 19? Might do a day trip with the deck if we get done hauling hay tomorrow

Parking at 27, we're taking the groomer up to track pack the trail tomorrow. Another dump and grooming will start.

Road was plowed and sanded today to 21km, Active logging at 21 km.
We ran the groomer up the wood shed and back today, bladed the whoops out.

any one been to Rocky point yet?
Yep, parked at about 21km on bug Rd. Lots of alder on the lower part of the trail. Mega downed trees were cut out by an energetic crew last week. Good coverage up top, still hazards poking out. Need another dump.
