Gona be a lot of hurt feeler reports this season these sleds absolutely destroy. Jumped on my 2014 from last season and it feels like a kids toy and that was a badass machine. Couldn't wait to give it back to the guy I sold it too LOL. What really impressed me is how much better the 174 works compared to the 163 didn't think there would be much of a difference. Length hasn't bothered me one bit so far like I originally anticipated. The thing just builds so much speed so fast in the deep snow. I've built a lot of 3" machines in the past and none compare to this t3 package. Breakin 50% complete. Riding with the 163 t3 today it's definetly a more playful sled but overall very similar the 174 stays planted and keeps on climbing. Rode deeeeep bottomless sugar all weekend where normally your stuck all day but it just keeps chugging ( it still gets stuck lol )They fly pretty good too with or without a pilot

I'm with the general on his comment, I'm regretting not ordering one.

Was the track speed the same or slightly better on the 162 maxwell? I was wondering about the track lengths and curious if the 162 was a better route to go with over the 174. Hope I can try both out this season.

I agree. Regretting not getting one too. Oh well, theres always next year.

When you say its night and day over the 2014, what is the biggest difference? Obviously its going to hook up good. Anything else? X2 on the track speed question.

sorry never did check the track speed was having way to much fun. what i can tell you is the 174 makes insane ground speed in deep snow...and FAST. and more than the 163 aswell. substantially. its the only sled ive had that can actually build speed uphill in deep snow from a dead stop. i think that 20mm drop and roll has done alot more than i ever thought because ive had 174x3" sleds that did not do what this machine does.when i demoed it in the spring the snow was crap so this was a great test.

its just the hookup. dont know about the trackspeed forgot to test that but the ground speed it makes in deepsnow uphill compared to the other sleds is remarkable. the thing i noticed most was my 2014 if i hit the hill at 60mph from 200 yards away it wouldnt go as high as my 174 t3 from a dead stop at the bottom of the hill.

i think the inset lugs with the lighter more flexible track combined with more clearance around the tunnel does way more than i figured it would. all the previous 3" track sleds ive had were vibrating underperforming turds so i am extatic LOL

i never really got to test out the full handling characteristics yet with the new front end because although we had alot of snow it had no base so evfery time you dipped a ski in you got this bad feeling lol. so we stuck to driving uphill fast with skis off the ground to minimize damage.

This is what I was hoping to read, my findings were the same on my 11 with a 3", I was hoping the T3 was the real deal.

sick1, did I read that right?

A turbo 163 was getting beat by a stocker with a longer track?

Ya, I wanted to go home after the first side by side pull. Couldnt believe it And the kicker was i snowchecked that sled, just couldnt swing it this year..
I'm gonna blame it on the cold, wasnt running to good that day but still being high marked by fifty lengths just aint cool.. I think im gonna have some catching up to do this year, lol all year..
