2 cycle oil for my polaris 2009 800 dragon

I bought this sled and previous owner said he burnt amsoil in it always , oil in tank is red, forgot what he said it was other then amsoil , but where I live my dam city don't have amsoil so I'm gonna use the polaris oil , just was wondering got a 1/4 tank of amsoil about left in sled is it okay to just top up with polaris oil ?or should I drain rest of the amsoil out first ?

Ask your polaris dealer, if you can mix gold with amsoil? Then you will know for sure what to do or not.

Cycle Works carries VES gold in bulk and sell it by the 4 litre bottle for 44 bucks which is a fair bit cheaper than the Blue bottle. It is low odor which makes my chemically sensitive wife happier.

I'll have to check with Cycle works here in Calgary. A little saving, always helps.....
