1999 artic cat

Hey guys I know nothing about sleds but have an opportunity to pick up a 1999 Artic cat 600 that has been chipped to an 800 with 3 spare belts it is supposed to be in mint condition and he wants $2500 for it is this a good deal?

Is it a ZRT 600? EFI? What do you mean about a 600 being chipped to an 800. A performance chip is unlikely to result in a 600 being equal to an 800.

If it's got a big bore kit or something like that it could be. I just sold my two zr's 500 & 600, 1998's. For 2k each, and that was a good deal for the buyer. you have any more info about it??
