1981 Yamaha Enticer 340

Just picked up myself a good vintage sled. I plan on fixing a few things, like the hood and graphics. I'm a graphics guy......Otherwise the thing runs great!!

I'll be taking it out this weekend for the first time.

Anyone else have some old Enticers or Exciters?

i grew up riding one of these as a kd. It was the best machin i ever owned. I reciently picked up a 250 et and restored it for the kids. It aways starts on th first pull(thanks to the makuni carb i installed).

I have 3 of them. One that i am justb about done restoring its a 79 340. The other is a 81 340. As well i have a et 250. I'll try to pust pictures of its progress tomorrow.

I have a 1980 Enticer witch my father bought for me last year. Since a lot of you restore Enticers i thought this was a great place to ask about parts. I need the left and right skis, the left and right ski shocks, and the ski rods. If any one knows of any site with cheap shipping into Saskatchewan, Canada please please please post where or e-mail me! I need the parts asap because the skis are rusting and worn through and the shocks are broke and are going to fall off.

P.S. i love the enticer! it is a great cheap sled for and kid to learn on! It doesn't have too much power but it has enough! it is also a perfect size and 12 year olds will easily wip it around!

Here is my progress so far. It all started with justa bent up tunnel/bulkhead. Should have the skid in and hood soon to follow.

Dyslexic and I found a parts sled and are picking it up this weekend. We plan on rebuilding our sleds this spring/summer. I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours.
