We didnt have a good spot to compare. The Cut skidoo track feels like it hooks up better from the seat of the pants. WE will get out and try again in the near future. This Russian track seems to have some issues with the inner nub spacing and is causing some pretty bad vibration. Ill have the sled apart this weekend and will measure to confirm.

The russians are known for their quantity, not their quality. The track mold was made as (good enough) by Russian standards.

Any more updates. My t3 track is pretty much done after 5000 km of abuse. Thinking of jumping on the 3.5 pitch wagon. Maybe that camso 770 3”.

the doo track is good but I am gonna try the camoplast 9119 track next year, yes its a 3 inch pitch but in my opinion its gonna be a better track, I also have a 9119 on my t3 and it is very good.

9115??? I have a set of 3.0 pitch avid drivers if you need them.

Whats your plans for the rails? Getting new ones?
Also, that track may not be a true 3” lug Like to doo track. Those challenger extreme tracks use to include the thickness of the belt in the lug height. The shorter lug helped with the 3” track conversions and rubbing issues back when it was a popular parts swap.

He will need the drivers. His rails should work. 175 to 174 shouldn’t be a problem?

The 9115m is too stiff for a non turbo sled, especially a 2smoke. Your going to end up with a tractor that will tend to trench in the correct conditions. JMO but not my choice for your Doo.

Was hoping to find a doo 165 track. Powerclaw 3 pitch or another 163” t3 track. All 3” of course.

She getting thin where the wheels run. I think some ice froze onto the billets at one point and did a number on it. Top picture you can actually see where the wheel is running. Have a 3 wheel rubber coated plastic set in which will stay for next track.

The Powerclaw track if you can afford it is the best option out there. NO DOO track will compare but it comes at a price.
The 2.6 is the most playful and can almost hang with the 3" on climb's, so it all depends where your heart is.
BTW, a Doo with a Powerclaw 3" will come out of the hole and out pull a Doo with a 3" Doo track and equip with the 2.6" the playfulness of the Doo is amplified significantly.
This is on T3's and 2017 G4's with Tmotion lockouts installed.

Does the 9115M have the saw tooth on the tips and the X3 have the solid lugs?

9115M has saw tooth lugs. Just put one on my turbo pro and have a 174 coming for my Alpha. Had a 9115 on my m1000 and it performed very well.

I’m stuck on the 3”. Been running them since 2008. Had one of the first ones around on an old big bore RT. Walked into specialty and seen Ken putting one on and seen the future haha. Track weighed over 70 pounds and hated speed.

I think the alpha track with the 3.5 pitch 16” wide and set for twin rail would be perfect track if it existed. Things have come along ways. That 9115M looks a lot like my first 3”.

There should be a bunch of 160 length 3” powerclaws off guys upgrading the sidewinder tracks?

On any of the turbo 4strokes the 9115 is a huge up grade, my #1 recommendation on these type of sled's. The powerclaw on the sidewinder is like running winter tires on your ATV, instead of ATV tires.
The 9115m is a track specifically design for heavy high HP sleds, the lug durometer is very stiff and allows for grip under real heavy load application such as 600lb sled with 200+hp and gobs of torque. Only then does the track lug start to conform and fold to pack the snow to give lift and hookup.
Install it in a 2smoke and you start losing those benefits, the sled is too light, by nearly 100lbs and doesn't have the torque or hp to make the lugs conform. Even a turbo 2stroke won't benefit from this track unless you add bricks in it or your a BIG guy. LOL

Now after saying that, i have seen hill climb dudes that take it serious and during the season run their fav. track and come spring switch out to the 9115 when the snow gets heavy. That works well, as the lugs hold grip in heavy spring snow even for braking.

I had that powdermax track on my NA Doo, it worked very well.
I remember a certain member on here running a 15w 174 on his NA.
It will be alot tougher than the stock doo track, cant have everything.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
I feel honored to own two of these black tracks. I took some nubs off and clipped every second or third window, can’t remember. It saved 3 lbs or so.
On second thought, I might only have one. I can’t remember if the 174na is a Doo track or 9115m. For my own sanity, I will go look.
