174 MTNTK turbo pro build

Thought I would share my pro build. Found a lower mile 13 with a MTNTK fix kit already installed. Stretching it out to 174 with a X3. Had Chrisco at parkland Motorsports install the MTNTK turbo. Going with the raptor spring kit on the walker evan stock shocks. Just waiting for the van amburg 174 extension to show up and then powder coat the ice age rails , boards, seat bracket and tail light cover. Did a little cutting on the tunnel to clean it up so the ice doesn't build up on the back footrest. Doing a white tunnel wrap and the rest in polaris retro blue. Nothing to flashy. This is my first pro so any helpful advice would be awesome.

Remove the lower a-arms and verify that they are glued properly. I would also recommend a TKI belt drive with that size of track and boost. Also check the jackshaft bearing at the top sprocket of your quick drive. If the bolt came loose it's very possible that bearing is shot. Heard a lot of positive about the MTNTK turbo kits. Check your motor mounts as well. These sleds are known for this issue and I found out the hard way lol....

Picked up my parts from powder coating today. Thanks to Gary at metal strip and coatings in Red Deer. Matched the retro blue beautifully. Went with the zbros front end from Chrisco as I am no expert on checking to see if my glue is going to fail on my A arms. And also the Raptor spring kit. Found a spot for my muff pot. It's coming slowly but have 2 weeks off so should get it done and start ripping here soon.

I cant see that well in the picture, do you have a vent under neath your windshield? Who did you order it through? I really dont want to order online with exchange rates and shipping, trying to find a supplier in around edmonton

Yes. Got that through Chrisco at parkland Motorsports. It's the fire n ice one. He has lots of stock so you don't have to order most parts.

I didn't get a chance to set my tension yet on the track. But yes if it's close I will have to cut them back.

Nice sled for sure. Turbos are friggin Awesome!!!!!! 3 rides on my 14 PRO boondocker and a lot of yee-hawing going on in my helmet too!!!!

What was the ballpark price for the turbo and install if you don't mind me asking? Any tuning requirements noted after your first ride?

Not really clutched for local riding so hard to tell if it needs anything. Fuelling should be good with the bullydog tuner. As far as price goes, well wrong year to build a turbo with a crappy dollar. Spent way more than I was hoping. I should have bought Chrisco black and green turbo.

Got my doo rubbers on today. Went on actually really easy ( with a clamp). Before with poo rubber the tip of the ski would stay on the floor till the back of the ski was up 3". Now the ski lifts evenly with the doo rubber.

I had a difficult time trying to get my doo rubber on there. Ended up just getting stocker pro ones again.
But I think I'll rip it apart tonight and try to get the doo rubber in again with a clamp. Last time I tried using a ratchet strap around the spindle the the aarms it worked to get the bolt through one side but not quite the other
