Polaris by .6gal (10.4 vs 11)Any idea which sled has the bigger fuel tank? I know you weighed them without fuel, but I am not a fan of the shrinking fuel tanks nowadays
There seems to be a debate if the Catalyst holds 9.4 or 10.4 gal. Cat has listed it as both.Polaris by .6gal (10.4 vs 11)
That would definitely help. 9.5 is not enough for a deep day on a turbo doo. 13 would be enough 95% of the time for me.All sleds need a 13gal tank, then no need to pack extra, especially on mountain models.
Why would you want to pack that fuel all day. I normally pack it up top off. Leave enough there to get me back down the trail. Ride all my alpine riding with no Jerry. All sleds need a 13gal tank, then no need to pack extra, especially on mountain models.
I guess you have been lucky and never had your gas stolen, I don't drop anymore for that reason. Why would you want to pack that fuel all day. I normally pack it up top off. Leave enough there to get me back down the trail. Ride all my alpine riding with no Jerry.
Could use 13 gallons after the gas drop some daysWhy would you want to pack that fuel all day. I normally pack it up top off. Leave enough there to get me back down the trail. Ride all my alpine riding with no Jerry.
I rarely drop at the common gas drop locations for exactly that reasonI guess you have been lucky and never had your gas stolen, I don't drop anymore for that reason.
