Take it easy big guy! That's a pretty bold statement IMHO :rollinglaugh:

If they don't want one then they sure as hell are afraid of its potential.
Every body trying to find an angle to take a cheap shot at the Alpha.
Averaging about 1000 views and 25 posts per day - somebody is interested.

I didn't beat up on the 850 this much and the doo whining/sniveling/crying had that thread pulled.
Cat peps can take it cause we know the azz whoopin we gonna be passing out this winter.

Bold indeed.:D:D:D

That wasn't a shot at the Alpha. It was a poke at Cat401 (a lot of people may want one). So pull back the reins Mr snochuk.

I am patiently waiting until I see the Alpha on the snow and then I will make up my mind.

And mine was not a shot at you, just protecting family (Cat401).
The only guy I ever intentionally take a real shot at on here is Daggy.

I am patiently waiting to go on first ride on Dec 15/16 with two 850 Doos.
Maybe some video.
Well I'm waiting.........but not to patiently.

What's with the Mr stuff, somebody find out my age.

Seems there is a lot of patiently waiting this year. Just for the record, Cat401 doesn't need any protecting as he holds his own very well.

Yes, Daggy is deserving of all he gets. He's met a quieter/friendlier crowd on DooTalk so we don't see him too much. Thank heavens!

Age is just a number and only makes a difference if one wants it to make a difference. Enjoy the ride.........only 3 weeks to go.

but I gotta reiterate.......the Alpha is one of the most exciting things out there right now in the sledding world....it is creating a lot of interest...I mean look at this thread....

CAT has slowly but surely built themselves a reputation......they designed a reliable platform, created a powerful responsive engine (even at 800 cc). If Cat (with Textron's deep pockets) continue that trend with the Alpha platform and if it becomes a "deep snow" success then that is a win/win for all of us, no matter what brand you ride.

Any time a manufacturer comes out with a new innovation idea and it is successful, it raises the bar for the other manufacturers to push their engineers to bring their best to the table....

I would have sent the green rep but my guns are empty. There was no alternative but to load up the other smaller rewards.

I agree new inventions push the OEM's because they gotta keep up. I look forward to seeing what the new Alpha can do on/in the deep snow. All of them can handle 4" on a frozen field with no problem.

My buddy was last day decision ordering a Alpha and he still hasn't got it.

Apparently they can't keep up building engines.
