This is going to be fun.

That vid showed not much has changed from previous years, the sleds got a bit lighter and the HP increased.

The weight of the Polaris should not be a shock, the chassis as always been that light, even the on the mtn weight comparisons showed the Polaris lighter, and the cat and skidoo within 10 lbs of each other.
I predict the on the hill weight test will show the alpha closer to polaris, I hope someone does that test this winter.

IMO the level of the playing field is now getting very close, it has been for years.

And then we just go back to looking at rider weight. Lol

I’m interested in on the hill weights too, it’d be cool to see how the Alpha compares full of snow.

Alpha won't be full of snow.
Will be lightest on the hill.
Depending on snow density dare I say lighter than a Poo???

But no more free Fireball

That’s what I want to see! I wonder if the Aloha will be lighter on the hill than the poo...

I don't care how the G4 compares in weight to the other 2 strokes. The weight difference between all of them will be negligible. All I know is I can make that machine work like nobody's business.
What?

If your wife gained 40 pounds would you say that's negligible because you can make her work like nobody's business?

My wife wouldn't be able to gain 40 lbs if she was on a steady diet of cheesebugers and milk shakes. Lol! As for your 40 lbs spread between the poo and the doo, IMO it's not a deal breaker because the doo actually handles and feels lighter. The alpha, haven't ridden it. Can't judge it. (Maybe if I play nice with snochuk he'll let me try his). As for the yamaha, I don't care how much HP they make to offset their weight. The rider will always exert more energy in certain conditions (tree riding, Low speed) compaired to the other three. Pick your poison.
