I am removing 159 track and installing a 162 track same pitch into 07 rev
do you think there is enough adjustment on the rear wheels for this or is there a mod i will have to do. Do not want to go to the two set up with offset axle.
thanks driller

Done the same thing to our buds 07 xrs (159 - 162) at the begining of the season and he went with a big wheel kit to pick up the extra length, 159 rails maxed out on adjustment still came up short.

No there isn't enough adjustment with the stock 180 mm wheels. I used the 200 mm XP wheels on the stock axle and have about 3/8" - 1/2" of adjustment and have been running this setup for about 5000 km with no probs at all.

When you go from 7.2" (180mm) wheels to 9" and this drops the wheels down below the rails as well as back by almost an inch, does this cause any problems with how the track runs or affect the rails at all?

I will take a picture tomorrow of the current skid location from stock.

And just to express how reliable it has been, I installed this early January 2008 at 1600 miles when my second engine failed. I just rolled over 4000 miles on Sunday with absolutely no problems with anything related to the 2 wheel kit, the 9 inch wheels or moving the skid back.
