09 foam removal

Im intsalling my mod rods vent kit,do you remove all the foam from the exhaust side or just were you need,I removed it all from the clutch side but Im not sure about the other side with the heat shield tape,Ive still got the stock can in it.Thanks for the help.

I removed all of mine and put 3M aluminum tape where the heat issues are.

Oh nice call on removing foam in the air box. Have you done it? I'm sure you need to leave a little bit to grab any moisture that might build up in there with temp change and that sort of stuff. Makes since to get more air to the motor.

Ditch all the foam you can, and all those stupid plastic dividers that trap heat in your engine bay.
