hey guys, i was just wondering weather anyone had any info on the new 800 xp's... i want to see if its worth the money for me to by one.. thanx

my cat got 1 km up the trail woohoo so i rented a new xp, being 6'3 i found the room to move way better and feet foward more helps a lot. only bad thing i can see is the belt encloser needs to be opened up to some air or you will be frying them often, other then that very happy with it pretty much fixed all the things i didnt like about the rev.

rode this past weekend with 3 in our group. all 3 of us were very impressed. made a couple m1000's look kinda silly.

I love mine. I have only put 300 kms on it but its a real head snapper and it loves the deep.

I like mine and think it was worth the money. I`ve had a couple of minor problems but it is a first year sled. I`ve removed the plastic piece on the belt guard, the tool box and the plastic behind the muffler for better air flow. I didn`t have any problems with the belt like a few others have.

yea, i talked to some people today that said there buddy fried 2 belts on the first day of ridin at quarts creek in golden, and then the second day had to buy one and fried it on the way back on the trail... it takes me almost a full hard ridin' season to blow a belt off my polaris... i'm 6"3 as well so i am interested in the room to move, but i'm still a little bit sceptical when it comes to buying a newly released sled.

i own a 2002 Polaris RMK 800 VE and i love it, i did the pistons, reids, shave the bottom of the housing, adjusted the throttle for a more crisper grab.... i also put on a MBRP performance can, does anyone know any other upgrades i can do to make it lighter, as well as some weight savings? i still want the sled to be reliable.

Rode all weekend with no problems at all. Belt stood up, and the handwarmers were still working when we came home (good thing because this weekend was -25 on Saturday Renshaw and -13 on Sunday Lucille!!!) 8 hours and 90 miles later.

Love it!! Hand warmers craped out on mile 4 at Renshaw, but twice the sled my 06' was stock. Loves the deep snow and climbs hard. No problem with my belt at all. I put the vent kit on it though to get the air moving through the engine bay, but I rode with 3 other XP's with no vent kits and they were fine also. We put 230 miles on this weekend in the cold at Renshaw and the only problem we had was a rock on a rev sheared the bottom bolt off the lower control arm, we fixed and we rode! Cold!

heard from a few guys on the dootalk forum that the 08 summit is eating belts (again) and a few guys had a piece on the clutch wearing a hole in the side panel when the panel gets leaned on in the deep stuff also the hand warmer thing. There are lots of reviews on dootalk from some guys that have already put quite a few miles on.

Luv mine, hand warmers crapped out instantly,, fix on its way.. Kinda bad for the money the big four ask for them...

But ooooooOOOOOOHHHHHH YA!! this thing Rocks.

25 minutes north of Edmonton.

gibbons is about 20 minutes north of edmonton on the very east corner, just slightly northwest of fort sask. I have my sled at the dealer there right now so far they seem to be good guys out there (have to wait til I see the bill to confirm this) alot more helpful and friendly than the big city dealers. Had to wait half an hour to buy a snowblower at riverside the other day.

love mine 600 miles on it, no trouble with hand warmers or belt. put the inch and three quarter track on, eats up the mountains loves the deep stuff. I find it so easy to control in powder and being a big guy very comfortble. few buddies of mine have new four stroke yamies and cats cant touch me in the hills or on the lakes. not to worried about recalls because hey dont cost me anything. Got three years full warrente just in case then trade her for the 2011 renagade.
