08 xp 800 speedo inop/odometre inop

2008 xp 800 everest speedo and odmetre not working.all other fuction on cluster are working.connector at sensor on chain case cover appears tobe ok.
any ideas thoughts app.

you may have to pull the chaincase cover and clean the metal shavings off the pickup magnets.

Did you put a tester on the speed sensor? Your sensor is most likely needing to be replaced. Think they are around 20 bucks for a new one last I remember.

Cleaned magnets and retested.Still inop.Bought a new sesor today.Only $30 in stock.Messaged resistance on new and old
sensors.Green sensor wire is grd out.installed new sensor.
