Just picked this up a few weeks ago , 105 miles on it . rode it once and had to modify the rear suspension .... a little bit of welding and some fox shocks , good as new and ride better.. will get rid of front shocks to . but over all it is a fun an comfortable machine 45 mph . it is 72 inches wide , so I have to be carful on the quad trails ..a snorkel kit is next ... so ya it is not a name brand so you bashers can go ahead and start bashing...... big bore kits ? anybody know of one ??? lets hear the good the bad and the ugy:beer:

get any weird looks hauling it on the side rails? lol

curious how it holds up to some beating. the Odes brand looks like it could be coming up with a great product. like the standard front and rear 3500lb winches on it would be sweet to have factory on my rhino

this sounds costly .... what type of engine can be mated to the trans
You use can am engine tranny and electrical (pretty much need complete donor machine with exception of axles and diffs etc there is a through shaft that u can buy to mate the can am tranny to yamaha drivetrain
am seriosly lookin into this lots of wrecked 800 renegades out there would like to find a tranny from outlander 650 as they are supposedly geared a bit lower

Any DOT's on here or RCMP if so what do you think the trailer legal or not

As long as its tied down good you should be good! Your not over weight or to wide so can't see it being a problem! That's no different then a deck on a truck!

I've never understood why people why buy a cheap machine like this then spend a bunch of money on it trying to make it as good as a name brand.

Like buying a Ford Ranger and dropping an ISX and F750 leafs into it. Just cause it's possible doesn't mean it makes sense.

First I've heard of this brand. Looks a little low on the suspension so hell ya put some shocks on it and let us know how it works. BTW at 45mph I will kick your azz two fold. For the money if it works good deal.

Hey I think as far as ford trucks the Ranger is the the best truck ford makes, as in the most reliable! Not all people like to ride the same thing as the next guy. It's kinda nice when everyone thinks that your machine won't cut it, then when you pull them out all day or keep up with them it funny to watch there reaction! I do that in the mud and skeg all the time with my Ranger 500. Guys think that I will be getting stuck everywhere then when I pull them I get the last laugh!

But you bought your machine with the intention of driving a ranger 500. You don't have plans of dropping a rotax or doing a BBK. I have no problems with small engine machines, just doesn't make sense to buy a small machine and try to get it to perform like a a big machine.

n my case we have had this rhino since 08 as a 4 str before any of the big bores were out we have been lookin at replacing it and may still do so depending on what yamaha brings to the plate like the layout of the tyrex 4 however not really interested in starting with a 750. not keen on turning a commander into a 4 str as there is not much room in the box from the ones i have seeen done... there are a number of renegades being parted out and I do like the idea of waking this old girl up and with what is on the market now for sport utility sxs I am pretty confident that this build could lay down a spanking
but no I would not go and buy a new rhino now with the intentions of engine swaps etc

That makes a lot more sense.

I'd go with a Teryx or Ranger. A clutch kit really helps the kawis out.
