Yikes, that intake manifold is.... basic..

I'd be worried about flow, but i guess it works.

Lol, flow prolem not at 12 psi you must not have seen to many 2 stroke turbo air box set ups ??

yeah it is a differant concept when the air is pressurized in the box. all turbo intake manifolds look like that in one way shape or form. no sense in having a flow friendly box when its constantly got 12 psi in it that the motor is drawing from. forced induction. the air is already there for the motor. rather than the motor sucking it in.

True, but the air still flows.

This would no doubt create some level or turbulance. Certain turbulance in carbs (assuming these are carbs) or even throttle bodies can be troublesome.

A carb acts similar to a venturi valve drawing in fuel.

Excuse my ignorance about Polaris engines. I'm not overly familiar with sleds other then SKi-doo's and I never did look into the Poo's when buying.
