08 700 dragon shorted speedo wire

not sure if gonna be a common problem but my gauges quit. found the insulation worn off the wires to the speedo under the airbox. wore thru from rubbing on the bracket that holds the rubber airbox strap

This also happened to me , 08 700 RMK with 400 km, had dealer repair wiring, sled know has 3800 km with no problems.

had it to dealer. thought had it fixed. quit again. anyone with any info on where your repairs were made. still trying to find the problem

my hand warmers were shorting out and making my screen blank on mine
turn them off it was good turn them on no screen or else all 8's took to polaris and they fixed them

talked to them and they gave me some places to troubleshoot. ended up taking my brothers 09 dragon 8 apart and used his gauge to find out the gauge was still the prob
changed the gauge and been good since

This also happened to me. There was a hand warmer recall which I believe they ended up changing out my cpu last winter. Never had a problem since. Maybe check into the recall.
