06 Vinson 500

My brother has an 06 vinson 500 that seems a little doggy mostly in the low end. The only add-on's are 26" mudlites and a 2" lift. I'm pretty sure its clutching so does anyone have a good clutch setup for this machine? Thanks for any info.

Is it piped?.. My buddies vinson 500 was doin the same thing an apparently it was his exhaust causing it

Nope, no other extras other than tires and lift. I have heard that a clutch kit really wakes these quads up and i'm just wondering what kit or setup others have that have given good results

Clutch kits do help for sure. Also check the carb breather tube that runs up under the front of the seat. Had mine plug up a bit and caused some power loss. Also make sure this line stays clear or could end up with crap in carb. I had a small pce of grass stuck in a jet once and this tube was the suspect!

Is it auto or standard??
I have installed an epi clutch kit into a vinson, with great results......Low range wheelies.
You could also get a carb jet kit, along with a pipe and it will really wake that vinson up..
