My boys 800 seems to miss at wide open throttle. If you hammer it from a dead stop it revs good then right away it starts to miss. I have changed plugs and one cap. Put gas line antifreeze in and drained the carbs??????? There is a little piece of the key missing I am going to get a new one tomorrow I sure hope that is it.

It isn't over reving it pulls down to 7300 rpm so it isnt the rev limiter.

Well i took it to the dealer and after 4 hours of checking everything they could think of it was the primary? Said they took one off another sled and said it worked great and that mine is totally screwed.

Does it surge or miss?

Go over to Doo talk and do a search for "Pipe Surge"

I would like to thank my Dealer for Charging me $685.00 to tell me my clutch is screwed.
Now I have to buy the parts and fixe it. Oh I geuss i did get a new key and a set of plug wires that didn't fix the problem.
