You will need to put larger pilot jets in. Go from a 38 to 42 and shim your needles up. Then it will run the same as before! I did this set up to my 650 brute. It will run with out jetting but it will bog and pop going down the road at high speeds.

I have a 2009 brute 650i carbed, I snorkeled it, no re-jetting need, EFI still no re jetting needed!!!!

If its not working properly it wasn't snorkeled right!!!

The minute you add or take air away you have to rejet..............Will it run yes, will it run like it should ,no......If their is a hickup, miss, blurp, hesitation, etc it needs rejetting..........Every 90 is a 16% reduction in air flow of ,so your chances of duplicating the same exact airflow as stock are quite slim,my friend.............

so than you are telling me that i need to rejet. I would assume that you would go with a smaller jet since you are getting less air. So you have to change both the primary and secondary jets or just the primary? thanks

Sounds like I can just leave well enough alone since I don't have a dyno handy

Chances are you will be fine, if it runs a little lean you could do some long term damage..........Probably not though. If it were mine i would do the mods & snorkels then take it to Get torqued and you will be bang on no guessing............and it will rip.........
