Whats every ones thoughts on the 05 Prowlers? This one I'm looking at is in mint condition and with low hrs.......also curious to know what type of price you think would be worth paying for it?

Thanks

i think that was the first year for prowlers and they were junk and in my opinion the 2011 are still junk so i had a 2009 700xtx prowler and it was in the repair shop 5 times so i give it away so i didnt have to see it again my buddy has the new razor 4 seat robby gordon edition and its awesome so i would be leaning towards a razor if i was buying a side by side by thats my 2 cents:d

Don't have any friends with Prowlers but as mentioned, seems like the early ones had some problems.
I really like my rzr but if your going to use it for any kind of work or hunting, I'd go with a rhino.

should be worth about 4-6 k... and go easy colin we know who ur friends are ...jk...

like the first 350 HONDA atv....theres always room for improvement and the 2011 with powersteering and a bench seat have come along way... we have very few issues with the prowlers / no more than the rhinos...we also sell..

depends what u want... iwould phone the vin into a dealer to see if the update is required on that model for the Bevel Gear problem...

fyi u can by a new 550 efi for 8800 plus tax...

We have both a RZR and a 650 prowler. Like the Cat at the lake lot as you more or less slide in ....its easier to get in and out of than the rzr...but for performance and burning around the rzr is a better unit. I like the Prowler as well for going for a putt or hauling stuff. Bigger box as well and you sit up much higher. 2 different machines with different uses so kinda hard to compare the 2. Really depends on what you want to use it for...the rzr would sack the Prowler and it should the rzr is an 800 and the Prowler is a 650 so that part is a no brainer. Don't get me wrong thou....both are good machines in my opinion...again...it depends on the use you are looking at. We have a hard storage lock box in the back of the rzr and you are lucky if you have room for a power saw in it now. The Prowler will pack a mean jag of firwood and have lots a room.

No complaints with my Rhino. But then I look after my stuff. I know Mike many numbers likes his prowler but he looks after his stuff too. I think it depends on how you ride and how well you maintain your gear. JM:twocents::twocents:
