So.... now I guess I have to make 1 of 3 choice's

1) Fix it........
2) Part it out..........
3) Find a sister sled to it.......

I'm gonna have to sleep on this for a bit.

if you find a used cyl head you can fix it for 2100$

parting out is a pain in the butt and you never get what you origional thought you would get parting it.

theres also some running HO motors around for 1200-1500$ used but complete. and you could keep your engine and fix it.

lots of options

What he said^^^. Parting it out you will sell the big stuff, then end up with a truck full of parts that no one wants unfortunately. Never get the full potential out of it. no one wants a broken sled usually. There is a lot of rolling chassis' in the classifieds already.....sent u a PM

CarbonDaddy put a turbo'd Vector motor in his Rev chassis........ :D

Most of them do just that. Two of the three I have done with this same problem ran the best they ever had, for about 5 mins prior to catastrophic failure.

I wouldn't part it out either....when i considered re-building my engine Ken at Specialty had jugs sitting on his shelf. I took the easy road and bought the short block. Start saving, $500 a month for 6 months and your ready to ride it again next winter.
