What about a 2015 LML with 172,000K and 100 % stock?
Just quoted a bypass valve this afternoon, 202 k, 15 lmlWhat about a 2015 LML with 172,000K and 100 % stock?
I'm thinking, I'm just better off to buy a used gas pot.....Just quoted a bypass valve this afternoon, 202 k, 15 lml
3500 bill
That's just one thing that can f up
My first choice is a 6LI'd be happy with either a 6 liter or the 6.2. Now if I was daily driving it empty I'd lean toward the 6 liter, they just ride smoother.

Yes, most deletes either delete it all and take it out, or just close it off so it does not flowThat’s only if it’s stock correct .Do the DPF delete and it closes the EGR
"Jeez" you've been driving a lot for approx. 4 to 5 years!I have a 2017 3500HD Denali Duramax with 250,000k and it runs like a top. Lifetime fuel economy is 13.8l/100k and 2021 year-to-date is 13.4l/100k. Obviously mostly highway miles with about 25k towing a 30' enclosed and another 10k or so with a 16' car hauler. Really nice to set the cruise in the mountains towing that enclosed with 4 or 5 sleds or a car and not have an issue on any grade. Owned since new and always dealer maintained - glows plugs back in the day on warranty; DEF pump once on warranty and once not. I would not hesitate to buy such a unit if I was satisfied with its history.
Thanks guys....... Lots of good advice here.
I'm still truck shopping and on the fence........ I'd love a diesel for the summer and a gas pot for the winter, LOL
I had a 93 Chev 2500 w/6.5 TD, as well as 05 F-sicklitre and loved both. They were both great trucks for me. But I was also pulling trailers or having a sled deck in the winter. Other than the 5th wheel camper we're buying, I think I'd kill a diesel with kindness....... Work is 70K round trip, but no load on the truck, other than 90% highway
Frickin tough decision!!!
Ford 6.2 with the 6speed automatic are pretty much bulletproof. Stay away from the fiats for obvious reasons.Gas pots
Chev/GM 6.0 - proven engine to surpass 600K
Ford 6.2 - I don't know anything about them?
Ram 6.4 - pass everything but the gas station and very hard to find
What are your thoughts?
This is a great option, can’t go wrong with a Duramax!View attachment 240280
$43,900. 116k on it. Just seen it posted sharing for interested guys
Just curious what the obvious reasons are? Other then brand bias? Literally all vehicles can have issues. Personally, I’ve had really no issues with my current truck (2016 Ram3500), and ordered a new one...Ford 6.2 with the 6speed automatic are pretty much bulletproof.
