01 summit 600 problem

Just started running like s***. Seems to be only running on 1 cylinder until about 4500rpm. Barely idles. Checked carb it's clean. Suspect coil?? Any comments greatly appreciated

check the choke operation

replace the plugs

check the compression

inspect/clean the rave valves

i have a triple Polaris and my problem was that the carbs were not synchronized, maybe the cable is stretched or the choke is hung up.

I had that problem on my 98 rmk 600... The choke was F!@#d

use a tester while its running and determine if you have spark. canadian tire have them. just hold against wire and it flashes with the spark. the other thing i would do is while it is running spray some brake cleen around the carbs and engine seals, if it rev's up you have seal problems. hope this helps

i had a throttle cable bust on one of the carbs once.. Ran on one cyclinder home until i figured it out
