You might get away with a 4 place behind a half ton in AB
Dont try it in BC you probably won't make it past Golden lol
i got a half ton with a sled deck on it and I know I can't legally have 2 sleds on it in BC
When that hwy is bad I wouldn't want 2400 pounds of sleds pushin me down the mountain IMO
What about the new firing pin and o-ring on the valve? Snow pulse says to replace the o-ring every fill to prevent leakage.
guess they probably sell a kit or something?
Got a used snow pulse avy bag for Christmas, I plan on deploying the bag to make sure it works properly but have no idea where to get the cylinder filled afterwards.
Closest major city would be Red Deer. Anyone know who refills these cylinders to 3000 psi. It's a little more than my compressor...
This thread has turned into a 2 headed fire breathing dragon lol
Picked up a 2013 cat snow pro 162" hopefully it's not a heap :)
thanks again to everyone for the info I sorta had my mind made up already
gonna take the high road on the paper bag comments, I haven't even ridin it yet
if I hate it...
Thanks all for your input. There's a great wealth of knowledge on this web site and everyone is always quick to share said knowledge. Really helps out guys like me that haven't been riding for decades lol
thanks again!!
Looking to upgrade soon and not sure what to buy. The 2010 and 2011 doo's need the pistons upgraded. The 2012 Polaris pro's need the same fix kit, not sure what the problem is with Cat's latest sled but there probably is one!!
What does a guy do? Stick with my rev lol?
Thanks fellas! I'll start with the boots and slides. I've yet to properly summerize the sled just try to park it with little to no gas lol. And it's no stranger to regular gas either lol
hopefully the carbs are gummed up and it's an easy one
So we got that dump of snow last week and of course had to fire up the '07 Rev and go for a burn!! Sled was running awesome which usually means it's ready to blow!!
engine seemed to "run on" kinda like throttle was sticking but it's not the throttle I'm sure. Too easy and cheap to fix lol
once...
Well now I'm kinda scared to even try. You can only "almost" loose an eye once or twice before it really happens lol
And TEX you can tell her that this winter when we're sleeping in your basement sleddin all day lol
Need to replace lower spring on my rear skid shock
never done this before just wondering if there's anything a guy needs to know before hand ie. tricks or special tools?
its an '07 rev 151" skid
Haven't been quadding out there yet but sleddin in the spring is the best ever!
140 km's from my front door and just as good as any ridin in BC
peace, skis in the air lol
